OPPORTUNITIES FOR LENT

MASS SCHEDULE:    6:50 A.M., 12:10 P.M., 5:15 P.M. & 7:00 P.M.

CONFESSIONS:    WEDNESDAY,   FEBRUARY 10th - 11:30 A.M. & 4:30 P.M.

SPRING BIBLE STUDY:  Begins the week of February 15 th. The topic is Mercy: A Bible Study Guide for Catholics. The study guide will help us rediscover the incredible history of God's mercy in our own lives, which in turn will lead us to an understanding of the importance of extending God's love and mercy to the world around us. Please call Paul Loman or Cindy Hoosock in the School of Religion Office (454-3639) to join a group or find out how to start one of your own.

STATIONS OF THE CROSS & BENEDICTION:  Every Friday at 7:00 p.m., followed by a movie (except on Good Friday).

DAILY MASS:  Monday - Friday; 6:50 a.m. & 12:10 p.m.; and Saturday 8:00 a.m.

ROSARY:  Each weekday after 6:50 a.m. Mass and before 12:10 p.m. Mass Before 8:00 a.m. Mass on Saturday and Sunday

PERPETUAL ADORATION:  Visit Our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament for one hour anytime of the day or night. Call 455-1233 if you wish to sign up for a permanent hour.

OPERATION RICE BOWL  Rice Bowls for Catholic Relief Services are at the entrance of the Church. We encourage you to participate as a family.

THE LIGHT IS ON FOR YOU :  Confessions will be heard at St. Daniel on Monday, March 21st from 4-7 p.m.

OUR SICK AND ELDERLY:  If there is any person who is unable to get to church and would like to receive Holy Communion at home, please call the rectory at 454-4946.

LENTEN REGULATIONS:  Ash Wednesday and Good Friday are days of fast and abstinence. Catholics 14 years of age and older arc bound to abstain from meat on Ash Wednesday and the Fridays of Lent. Catholics age 18 to 59 are bound to the law of fasting (“The law of fasting allows only one full meal a day, but does not prohibit taking some food in the morning and evening, observing - as far as quantity arc concerned - approved local custom.” Apostolic Constitution Poenitemini, 1966)
