  The St. Daniel’s Prayer Day at Planned Parenthood is Saturday, April 5th from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. The Respect Life Parish Committee asks that people, families, and groups sign up for an hour or two that day as well as any other day between now and April 13th. The Prayerful Presence runs from 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. 7 days a week during these 40 days. Please call or text Elizabeth Moldenhauer at 726- 1285 or via email emoldenhauer@twcnv.rr.com.   Procession of the Blessed Sacrament. All altar servers are asked to be present. All children of the 2013 First Communion Class will be in the procession and should meet in the Religious Ed Office at 5:30 p.m. in dress clothes.

This is the day when we commemorate the Last Supper, the Institution of the Holy Eucharist and Holy Orders, and the Agony of Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane. Blessed Sacrament Chapel will be closed Thursday 4:00 p.m. to Saturday at 10:00 p.m.

• Solemn Liturgical Service

  On this day of our Lord’s suffering and death on the cross, the Church does not celebrate Mass. The Solemn Liturgical Service consists of the Liturgy of the Word, including the reading of the Passion, General Intercessions, Veneration of the Cross and Holy Communion. All altar servers are asked to be present. A screening of “The Passion of the Christ” in Fr. Lyons Hall will follow.
