SECOND COLLECTIONS

EASTERN EUROPEAN MISSIONS,

BLACK & INDIAN MISSONS

There will be a second collection this Wednesday February 22, to support the Church in Eastern and Central Europe, to illuminate the way for the people of the region by helping Catholic organizations provide food, shelter, medical care, and compassion for the depressed and lonely, in addition to pastoral care and catechesis. Your donation helps to reinforce the Christian ideals of charity, family values, and kindness in a place struggling in the aftermath of atheistic Soviet rule. There will be a second collection next Sunday, February 26, to support United States Black, Indian, Eskimo, and Aleute Missions. Your financial contributions help support Catholic communities on reservations, in rural areas, and in inner cities.
